Gallis Conducting First Follow-up Project

to 1999 Landmark Findings for Greater Cincinnati

Michael Gallis, the renowned regional planning expert who shared his vision for Greater Cincinnati over a year ago, will be meeting with the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission to discuss how his regional ideas can be applied to an individual county.

WHY

Dr. Gallis is developing a strategic development framework for Hamilton County that will be used as part of Community COMPASS, the Comprehensive Master Plan and Strategies for Hamilton County.  By identifying how Hamilton County fits into the regional structure, the county can help identify ways to stem the tide of population decline and increase the competitiveness of the region in the global marketplace.

 

Dr. Gallis is in Cincinnati to speak at the Metropolitan Growth Alliance’s Great Cities Symposium.
